I have a 90-second video file (available as either a .wmv or a .swf), and my client has requested adding their company logo as a fade-in over the final few seconds.
What software would be best to use to do this?

VirtualDubMod can in one of the latest incarnations (or is it VirtualDub Mpeg2? I never can remember this!) load wmv. Use Donald Graft's Logo filter (not the std buiolt in, as it has no fade in/out option) to apply the logo, finally save out as DV or uncompressed. Load in WMM and save out as WMV again.
Now WMV is not a good source material - You sure there's no better source material available?
