    Hello, I come here to seek help with a problem that I am having. I'm trying to convert a SWF (flash file) into a WMV using WinAVI converter.

    But as I go through the process of converting I get prompted with a message that says;
    "WARNING: Cannot load the DIVER component!"

    then I press okay and then;
    "Failed to convert"

    Can anyone assist me in fixing this problem as I have not got a clue where the problems lies.

    thank you in advance.

    SWFs might be tricky to convert. Try WinFF or Super and convert to AVI and then to WMV using another software.

    That's assuming the SWF file has any sort of FLV video stream in it, though. If it's just a regular SWF file, WinFF, SUPER and WinAVI won't know what to do with it.

    In that case, your best bet would be to do a video capture of the SWF as it's playing, and then convert the resulting capture to whatever format you need.
