wmv to swf superc converter problem ,upload problems

HI, Im new here and exhausted all the searching i could do and stumple across this forum . I need help.


ok I downloaded a video from you tube and then i converted to wmv , just did a ten second edit to see if it would work when i converted it back to swf . so on super I put output container at flash/swf , i left output video codec at h.264 or something and audio at aac i think , i went a little smaller on the size of video and left the bitrate the same as i seen in multimedia analysis, audio i left alone,

well i press encode and this screen pops up and ask flash or swf shock, so i pick swf shock, and then i notice the settings change. Output video codec goes to flash video setting and the audio output codec goes to mp3 setting , then its done and a file pops up on my desktop , i right click it and press properties it shows swf file.

ok so i go to a few free hosting sites and try to upload the file and all i get this is not a swf file, i tried cabinswf, a few sites, this is not a file . So i do some searching and download this program called " video to flash converter" and i change the size i want to the same size i picked on super everything is just pick and convert with this program, , so it converts the file and makes an html file and i choose not to make a html file to see if that was the problem and it wasnt .

So i tried these same websites and the file upload works and it even played, ok so just use this program but it comes with a 59.99 price tag and a pick water mark in the middle of my video and i just cant afford to buy this for one little video ,

why isnt my conversion working for super but it is for this one conversion program that only converts wmv to swf


am i supposed to download any codecs or something with super , any help would be appreciated , thanks tommy

btw i forgot to add that when i drag the file that super converted from wmv to swf to my firebox browser it played and worked fine it just wont upload , so im just dumb and dont know what im doing i think

anyone know anything about this, guess ill have to wait for a moderator who knows something


I know my previous post is long , i figure i would explain all the settings, but the problem is the converted file using super isnt recognized as a swf file and when i went to an upload screen to show video files to upload that file was never shown .

it plays fine in a flash player but isnt recognized as a swf when trying to upload, ???
