Most of the movies I want to convert to vcd format are in 352x240 res.
I have a 45 minute one I am working on currently at this resolution. Should I convert it to VCD or SVCD? My dvd player does both, which one will look less blocky?

If most of the movies are CURRENTLY at 352x240, then I would do VCD, because "typically" you never want to resize to higher resolution than your source....now if you are trying to obtain subtitles, & other SVCD features, then obviously you have to do SVCD.

I see,
so resizing to a higher resolution causes the blockiness, that makes sense.
thankyou
