A few MPEG questions

Hi..

i have converted a short 4 minute ASF to MPEG using StreamAuthor, but when i go to create a VCD of it, Nero says that it doesnt have a length time. (you know where it says how long it goes for, it is just blank)

I think the MPEG is a streaming MPEG ? (are all mpegs streaming) and how can i get it back to normal

i try to convert the streaming Mpeg to normal mpeg using TMPGENC but the sound goes out of sync, and the video goes a bit choppy.

My advice is to BURN IT AND SEE !

Forget what Nero says about the time and see if it works anyhow.
And yes, all VCD/SVCD mpg files are known as System Streams (so you should have no need to re-encode).

i did burn it and see
it was all stuttery...

this is realy annoying me

any more idea's ?
