    I'm at it again! I have a wmv file I'm trying to take to DV for someone to do further work with. I have the latest FlipForMac installed. When I try without using QT to decode, I get this log:

    Encoding started on Mon Jun 4 00:05:28 EDT 2007
    Seems that stream 1 comes from film source: 1000.00 (1000/1) -> 30.00 (30/1)
    Input #0, asf, from '/Users/2ElKhouris/Movies/2007/07, 5-20 DRHS Slide Show.wmv':
    Duration: 00:15:00.0, start: 3.000000, bitrate: 270 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Audio: wmav2, 44100 Hz, stereo, 159 kb/s
    Stream #0.1: Video: WMV3, 640x480, 1000.00 fps
    Codec type mismatch for mapping #0.0 -> #0.0

    When I add invert mapping, I get:

    Encoding started on Mon Jun 4 00:06:29 EDT 2007

    What made you change the video size? The DV preset sets the size to the correct 720x480, not 640x480.

    a. Couldn't you set the framerate to a more normal value (29.97 fps) than 1000 fps?
    b. Couldn't you export from MMM to DV in one go? (I have no idea, just asking...)

    Thanks, Case. I did use MMM to take it to DV after all. I have no idea why it shows as 1000 fps - MMM supposedly exports 30 fps. Thanks as always!!!
