I'm not sure what else to make of this. I have tried to create a DVD, but when starting the burn process it fails at 1%. I have attached a log file from Nero. Please can someone advise me.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Frankly I'd advise you not to use Nero to burn a DVD. No offense against Nero, I love version 6 for CDs, but that's about it.

Try imgburn and imgtools (freeware!). I took a glance at your log but, again as a Nero fan, it's not worth the coasters trying to figure out where the problem is when imgburn will do it.

EDIT: You've got a heck of a lot of serial numbers in there. Could be that a few of them are ... uh ... unauthorized ...

    Status: 0x04 (0x01, SCSI_ERR)
    HA-Status 0x00 (0x00, OK)
    TA-Status 0x02 (0x01, SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND)
    Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)

Disc Manufacturer: MCC 03 - RG20 (You can look up this media code to the left in 'DVD Media')

Try some different media, that's the easiest thing to change. But if you have a lot of that media, try ImgBurn. If it doesn't work, then a media change.

The point being, it was already stated they were serial numbers...and there should only be one. Typically when posting logs you remove them so that no one can take/use your serial number. In this case, it doesn't appear to even be a vaild copy. Not that it matters, someone helped you anyway.

    cheers

Of course it's a valid copy. The serial numbers that you see or cracks for codecs that I installed. Nothing more. I have the disc that I installed it from, just added codecs...that is all. I don't know why I'm explaining myself, that is not even the problem. I resolved my problem myself.
