Hey people i need help finding a software which will convert avi to dvd with good quailty and reasonbly quick...

Iv tryed TMPGEnc that takes like 5hours to convert one single filme to dvd, iv also try The FilmMachine and CCE working togther that takes like 9hours...

Iv also tryed Convert X to DVD that takes 2hours but u can't make a custom menu with the out put files (.vob etc) and the qualitys abit "iffy"

So anything which wud have a reasonable goo quailty like TMPGEnc does but dont take 5 or 9 hours to convert 1 single film loll

    Cheers
    Chana.

    You can.
You just have to demux to the basic ingredients, which you'll re-use to author with menus of your choice.

Software settings (and the speed of your cpu).

Qicker but still isn't going to be much... You need more CPU for any significant improvements. 5 hours is going to be the ballpark for any encoder with reasonable results with your CPU speed, actually faster than i would expect.
