  1. Finally got it working last night....not the best but thats another story (see other post on the board)

However....when i did look at the video, it was all there.....I mean, the film was fully letterboxed....big black borders and nothing cut from the edge.

OK, whats wrong with that?....well, I have a 4:3 TV and Im happy to lose some of the edges for a larger picture vertically (i know, im a peasant

What i usually use in TMPGEnc is the "No Margin" setting in the advanced tab, which, still does give a bit of a margin but it looks just as I want it on my TV.

So, after all that, my question is, If i can ever get the results i want from DVD2SVCD, how do i produce a final film that looks like the output from TMPGEnc with the "no margin" option?

Surely this fully featured program CAN do this.....anyone explain how please?

    Thanks.

  2. Under the conversion tab, select 4:3 (the default is to use what ever the ifo file reads as). You already know that this will result in you losing part of the picture but if it makes you happy

  3. Thanks, I did see this setting but i thought that was the source setting (like in TMPGEnc)...Ill give it a go.

I know losing some of the film sucks but until I win the lottery or something I cant afford a wide screen telly
