  1. Hi,

I am just new to all this.I tried and captured video from my camcorder.
Converted to NTSC mpg format with TMPGEnc and burned the VCD
with NERO VCD template. I have followed the step exactly as on this site.

When I played the VCD on my standalone DVD player, it palyed fine
but the video seemed to move slow...like slow motion.

Please help me know what is the problem.

Also I have added a WAV music file converted from MP3 to the mpg and
it has doubled the size of the video ( its a 5 min mpg for testing)

Is it a problem capturing the video or adding the WAV file or something else ?

    Any help will be appreciated

    Thanks
    Praveen73

PS: I have posted this message in the NEWBIE forum but didn't get any
replies. Posting here with hope that some expert will reply.

  2. First, don't post in multiple forums, just wait for a reply, it may not happen in an hour, or even a day, but it will be replied if someone knows how to help.

Secondly, which program are you using for capturing ? and have you tried using TSCV or VCDeasy to create the VCD/SVCD disc ?

Usually slow motion is when the movie wasn't encoded properly and it does not follow standards, and the player is not able to play it correctly.

  3. Sorry, I won't post now onwards on two forums and did that because being a newbie am just very eager !

I captured video from Camcorder with Ulead Video Studio 4.0, converted to VCD mpg with TMPGEnc2.50.32.120 and made the VCD with Nero VCD template.

Also I captured the video on my laptop (300MHz PII MMX) with firewire PCMCIA card.

So do you think something has gone wrong with the capturing or encoding.
