I have tried so many different things and can't get H.264 (.mov extension) to play correctly. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Quicktime, where the movies seem to skip a frame every 3/4 second (jerky motion. I then uninstalled and Quicktime and installed the Quicktime Alternative. I downloaded the KMPlayer and the video plays at a slower speed, but the audio works. I have also downloaded the ffdshow codec. I tried VLC player but the .mov files just freeze up and then show up intermittently. Any ideas??? This is driving me crazy. Have put more than 15 hours into this already. I have even installed and uninstalled the K-Lite codec package. Nothing seems to play these things. Thanks!!!

  2. you should continue in your old thread, because there is pertinent information there on the type of files, and to avoid people asking the same questions with no new suggestions
