I used DVD2MPG to create an MPG file from VOB files off a DVD, imported the the MPG file into VirtualDub and exported as an AVI, and brought the AVI into Adobe Premiere to export for DVD.

The final DVD plays fine in Nero and Realplayer, but if the WinDVD utility/player opens, it gets hung up. Why is this? Codec issues? Speaking of, if anyone knows a guide as to what codec to use when, I would appreciate a shout out.

    Thanks in advance.

WinDVD (unlike e.g. MPC) only plays DVD files put into VIDEO_TS folder, do you have it?

Premiere's export to DVD produces a Video_TS folder. Looks just like any other DVD directory structure to me.
