DVD Auto Trailer

Can someone tell me which DVD authoring software programs have the auto trailer function? I am currently using DVD Movie Factory 4

What do you mean by 'Auto Trailer' function ?

if you mean playing a clip before the main menu starts, and blocking the user from skipping it, then any software that supports First Play (most do - TDA, DLP, DVD WS2, DVDA etc), and Prohibited User Operations, or PUOs - DLP, DVDA, DVD WS2.

MovieFactory 4 also has that function (check the option above the timeline to Use first clip as introductory video). But it does not prevent the user from skipping it during playback.

btw, DVDWS2 does not have PUOPS functionality. But you can open up a finished DVD Folder in PGCedit to modify the UOPS.

I didn't remember DVD WS2 doing it, and nearly didn't put it on the list. next time I'll trust my memory . . . . if I remember, that is.

TDA2 supports adding a 'first play' item before menu if you mean it.

I apologise for not being clear what I meant by ‘auto trailer’. There is a DVD authoring software called Sony Click to DVD. This only works on Sony VAIO PC’s. When you made a DVD video using this software it also gives you the option to automatically made a quick preview of the contents upon inserting the disc into the DVD player. Shortly after the preview (know as trailer) it goes straight to the chapter menu. It looks very professional. Is there a similar software that does this function on a normal PC ?
