I know that when I use muxman with a celltimes.txt file created by pgcdemux, I should remove the last line to prevent the "reference to non-existant scene" error. Problem is, doing this causes vobblanker to throw out a warning about the number of cells being fewer that the original and create blank cells to compensate. If the stream contains chapter points, they're off.
My Question is how can I keep my number of cells and chapter points consistent so I don't cause muxman to halt or vobblanker to throw warnings about the number of cells?
Personally, I'm thinking this is a bug in muxman, although mpucoder has stated otherwise.
I could be wrong. Help anyone?

Did you test out the DVD after using vobblanker? It's given me warnings about the final cell also, but my DVDs have turned out ok, with the other chapter poins left intact and accurate. And it doesn't alter how the chapter menu should work. That last cell is a workaround for the DVD structure when skipping towards the end of the movie. If you open the original DVD in pgcedit and look at the cells of the movie you will always see the last cell is not even a second long.

Well the vobblanker warning is normal cuz you are eliminating the last cell in muxman. Are you putting this on SL or DL? If on SL you definitely shouldn't need it. If on DL I suppose you can create a new layer break around the same spot just before burning.

Yes, the warnings are normal, and you sometimes (not all the time) have to remove the last cell/frame number. To determine if the last cell has to be removed, open the Logfile.txt and check the Total Number of Frames=xxxxxx. Then compare that number with the last one in the celltimes.txt. If it's within 40 frames or so, remove it.
The chapters not matching up is a different issue. Chapters have to be on I-Frames. Reencoding may shift the I-Frames from their original position and they may wind up a half a second or so away from their original position. If you're getting them farther off than that, then something else is at work. You can check the log and see which cells were changed and by how much. -
You can do the same in VobBlanker, doesn't matter. The idea is the same. There's no harm done removing the cell marker for a short black-frame section at the end of the video.
