On my new G4 Mac, I wanted to be able to install OS 9 so I could use PictureViewer, but it didn't work. I really liked PictureViewer. It was a very simple, convenient way to view images. I could open a lot together and the small size of the window bars made it easy for them to fit in the screen without it being a pain. Also, I could adjust the picture size to fit just how I wanted by dragging the window corners in and out.
Unfortunately, there's no PictureViewer for OS X. What we get in its place is "Preview", and I personally think that program sucks. Bulky, ugly windows that take up a lot of room, and adjusting the size is very limited (plus the image looks crappy if you zoom too much, unlike PictureViewer).
So my question is, is there a program like PictureViewer that works on OS X?

I've only tried one 'simple' picture viewing program, but I recommend it: ToyViewer.
