Hi all. I am trying to fit all my lost season 1 avi's across 2 x 4.5G data dvd's for use with my divx player. episodes 1 to 12 (350M each) fit dead on onto a 4.5G data dvd.
Episodes 13 - 24 slightly go over the allowance of a 4.5G dvd because episode 24 of lost is 700M unlike all the other 350M episodes.
So basically I want to resize episode 24 of lost season 1 from 700M to about 600M and I will be able to fit season 1 across 2 data dvd's neatly.
Is there any programs that can resize an avi from 700M to about 600M? I dont want to cut sections out of the avi, I want to resize the whole episode and i'm not worried about the slight loss of quality that I will get. 100M shouldnt make that much difference.
    Please help!

It depends on the resolution and the audio format as to how much difference it makes. Often the 700 MB versions have 5.1 AC3 audio, which can take up a lot of space, so 100MB off the video might hurt a lot.

Personally, I would use AutoGK to re-encode. You can then re-size the image or re-encode the audio at the same time to make sure you get the best result possible.
