Hi everyone. Recently I have been looking for a way to get better audio quality in my videos than the mic in my camera will deliver. I was looking into some different types of mics, particularly condensers and shotguns. I came across the Audio-Technica ATR 55 shotgun and I was wondering if you had any opinions on this mic. I'm mostly going to be doing short to medium range work although I'm not sure on the position I will have the mic yet. I think that's about it. Thanks a lot in advance!I really appreciate it!

Review from Panasonic 3CCD user board. -
Thanks for the reply!
So from the review it looks like the mic isn't that amazing...just good. If I want to go down a different road, would a nice condenser still do the job?
