    i have a 1 dvd movie [.vob] which is about 3.65 gb,, nero told me that this file wont fit in.. but i thought it will fit in a 4.7 gb. DVD+R

    why? any solution for this?

    i use nero because its a friendsly user for creating menu, [movie clip]background and thumbnail buttons.

    Make sure that Nero is not re-encoding your files. It is notorious for this. Do you get the same error in other authoring programs? You might give TDA a try and see if it works.

    Is the movie split into a number of vob's?Dvd vobs can only be 1gb in size.You should then have 4 vobs.3 1gb and 1 .65 gb in length.These are dvd specs.

    As pointed out, you don't have a DVD, you have one very large VOB. You need to author this, however Nero is not the tool to use as it is notorious for re-encoding (needlessly) compliant material.

    i have merge the three vob's into one.. by using VobMerge

    the three Vobs contains 1.3 each.

    and the duration of that movie was two ours.

    as Forum Troll said.. i can noticed that nero is also reencoding my video.. can i disable it?

    i have to try as u recommened [TDA] il see if i like it..

    Nero may be trying to re-encode the large vob into a single 1gb vob for a dvd.Not good.You need an authoring tool which will split the large vob up and add the associated files to make it a compliant dvd.

    Use VOB2MPG to extract the mpeg video and appropriate audio streams, then use GUIForDVDAuthor to author the disc. There will be no re-encoding.
