    i have a TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 now..

    i have imorted an avi movie, when i tried to preview, the sound [audio] was some kind of noisy

    ...not the normal audio from the movie..

    Drop the video into Gspot and see what format the audio is. Could be a audio format TMPGEnc doesn't understand and you don't have an decoder for. Or MP3 VBR audio that it doesn't like. Gspot should tell you all that.

    i think TMPGenc does not understand the audio format of my avi movie. [i noticed that it only AUDIO stream with three option (see image below)

    i tried importing .Vob file. the audio was ok.
