    I have seen this version mentioned, but not at the TMPGenc website.
    Is it an official release?
    What has it got over 2.02 and where can i get it?

    You can get version 2.5 here : http://www.tmpgenc.net/

    I believe it's on a different site because 2.5 is kinda the pre-release for the full PRO version which will be appearing soon.

    What it's got over 2.02 is ...... not much!

    The main addition is the Wizard Interface that guides you through the encoding process - sort of like helpful templates!
    Some of the actual encoder settings have been updated to make them 'easier' to get good results.

    And it has allot of bugs, especially with amd processors and batch encoding, I don't recommend it.

    AMD processors? buggy? could this be my problem?

    When i do batch encoding it nearly never completes properly resulting (usually) in TMPGEnc just bombing out.....
