    Hello all,

I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before but i can't seem to find it from searching ...

I just just got a Palm T|X and would like to watch movies on it. I have some movie files on my Mac and a video player installed on my Palm but i would just like some info on how to actually compressess these films / video's so they are small enough to fit onto my Palm and also so the proportions are right etc.

So basically i have a Mac, movies and a Palm T|X but no idea how to get them onto it - just really need to know a program for a Mac that will compress my files to the correct size etc. for a Palm.

Any help on this would be massively appreciated.

    Regards,

I bought a copy of CorePlayer and encoded to H.264 at a resolution and bitrate that was also compatible with iPod (768kbps @ 320x240). Battery life was less than stellar. I also encoded to MPEG1, 1000kbps @ 352x240 -- slightly less than VCD standard -- and although the battery took less of a hit, the picture quality wasnt as good as H.264. Then my Palm died and I got very, very angry with Palm.
