PHILIPS DVD players and SVCD subtitles

hi people
anyone play a svcd with svcd subs correctly in a philips player ???

in my player the subs are very strange. sometimes the subtitle stay until anohter come ...

my player is a philips 951 with the new firmware 8.11

Well how are you authoring the subs in your svcds? If your using I-Author it will create cvd style subs which aren't fully compatible with all dvd players.

If your not already, use submux. It will create svcd style subs which I imagine are what any philips player would be most compatible with.
