  1. Hi everyone,
TIA for any assistance. I am new to video converting and burning. I am using cucusoft pro to convert an avi file. Converting goes fine with no errors. Then I burn to dvd and 2 of my dvd players say invalid disc. I have burned the same file on +R and -R
with the same result. What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Gary

What brand of DVD media are you using? That is the most common problem and the easiest to fix. Have you successfully burned a DVD using a program like DVD Shrink that just backs up a commercial DVD? That may tell you if your encoding or DVD formating may be the problem.

Unfortunately, encoding and burning DVDs is not a exact science at times. You may need to experiment to find the combination of media, encoding, authoring, burning that fits your burners and your players.

Filling our your computer details is also helpful, as no one knows what OS or capabilities your system has.

    And welcome to our forums.

  3. Hi redwudz,
Thanks for the reply. My system info is 1G processor, 512 mb ram, 120G hard drive, Samsung Super-DVD Writer SH-S182M, Cucusoft Mpeg-Mov-Rm-Divx-Avi To Dvd-Vcd-Svcd Creator Pro 7.07. DVD media was Fujifilm +R, and Verbatum -R. I don't have dvd copy software yet but i will get it soon and try to make a copy.
    Thanks again for your help!
