Hello everyone, my name is T and I'm from Cambodia I am a newbie in this forum and know nothing about Video Capturing and would like some guide or direction on how do you guyz usually Capture Video on TV (ie: capture favourite movie, video music etc) and what are the equipment hardware do I need in order to perform this effort.

It depends on the source video. If it's TV, most use a PCI video capture card. You can look into the Hauppauge video cards. They hardware capture into MPEG-2 format. That saves encoding time if your intended destination is a DVD. They also have a TV tuner if needed.
Or you can capture to a AVI type format and encode to whatever format you want. Or use a FireWire card and a Analog to DV converter. Some DV cameras can also be use for this if they have passthrough capability.
Cards and capture devices are to the left in 'Capture Cards'. Guides for capturing are also left, in 'CAPTURE'.
