I am really new to this downloading video's from You Tube.
So far I have my Video Downloader, My Flash Player, Riva Player and Riva Encoder.

The part I don't get and I can't find any information on is where I go to change the file extension to .flv. Do I change the extension before I download or after? Where do I go to change the extnesion. if any one can help me that would be wonderful.

Okay so I figured it out.... Here's what I did:

    I went to START
    then SEARCH
    Typed "get_video"
    searched in C:/ drive
checked box for search in HIDDEN FOLDERS
    Files popped up YAY!!

To change the extention while search
Right Click on the file to get the MENU
    the open PROPERTIES
the the first box under the general tab you will see the file name simple add ".flv"
    and then click OKAY.

Open Windows Explorer. Click on Tools -> Folder Options -> View (tab). Scroll down the list and untick "Hide extensions for known file types", then click OK. You will now see the extensions, and can change them, from windows explorer.
