    I've got an xvid-movie, now I want to make a sample of this one in exactly same quality. What program would I use? Let me take an example, if I got a dvdr i can make a sample from this with example Chopper XP. What is the solution with xvid?

    virtualdub, select start and stop, select video->direct stream copy, select audio->direct stream copy, file-save as avi.
