Greetings all,
As such an excellent tool I've used DGPulldown quite often, although upon downloading the newest version I find that the utility crashes everytime I hit 'Convert'.
I've tried every combination of settings, different MPEG2 streams, scanning my computer for viruses and spyware, defragging my HDD, closing all other open applications, making sure my prefetch folder was intact and functioning, trying DGPulldown in safemode, using SFC to scan Windows for corrupted files, and also reinstalling several codecs, none of which have resolved the issue.
I've then reverted back to using DGPulldown 1.0.10, although I find the same error each time.
After the program crashes, an error message explains "DGPulldown.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Additional information reveals:
AppName: dgpulldown.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: dgpulldown.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00004fcc
Event ID: 1000
I've also checked the 'Event Viewer' for any related errors occuring either right before or right after DGPulldown crashing but there is nothing to note.
I'd appreciate for any help, thanks for your time!
Regards,
EDI
