I normally work for clients who use Avid and export from After Effects with the 'Avid Compressed' Quicktime codec.
Is there an equivalent FCP codec which I can use to minimise the file size of my renders?
I am using a PC.
Thanks fellow geeks....

I'm confused by your question....
how are you using FCP on a PC?
Do you mean, that you want to EXPORT out
of AVID or After Effects on A PC to something
that FCP will accept on a MAC, that provides
a miminal file size, but somewhat decent quality,
using a Quicktime based codec?
or are you wanting to do the reverse, and go from
FCP on a Mac to a PC using Avid?
( codecs are Quicktime properitary and FCP is dependent on Quicktime.
Any codecs that would be available to FCP,
must first be installed into Quicktime's Codec library)"Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."
