hi all.
i am using Sony Handycam DCR-TRV285E with Digital8 tape for digital recording. Using USB2.0, i can download recorded movies from Handycam to my PC (P4 2.8 GHz, 256 MB RAM). Picture and audio quality is good but the only problem is date and time stamp (which is seen on handycam and TV) is NOT seen on the movie captured to PC. I tried capturing by using Pixela ImageMixer1.5 and Nero v6.6 Video Capture but result is same in both.
Pls advise what shall i do so that date and time stamp is seen on the captured video. Thanks in advance.
Ajay

Our Enosoft DV Processor will add the date, time, timecode, camera settings etc. to DV video. It's by far the fastest and maintains maximum quality (the video doesn't get fully decoded and re-encoded). You can capture the files with it, too.
However, you state that you are using USB2.0 for getting the video from the camcorder to the PC. Can you confirm that the files that you get are in fact DV format?John Miller
