Recently I had installed the latest winavi version 7.7 , when converting avi files with srt subtitle files, it doesn't seem to show the subtitles at all. The avi files are in the same directory as the srt files, of course with the same filename. I have ffdshow installed in my computer too.
When I'm using windows media player to play the avi files, the subtitles appear. Also, when i used the older version of winavi version 6.3, the subtitles appear too. I really have no idea why when i used the latest version 7.7 of winavi, the subtitles doesn't appear anymore. It seems it is using it's own encoder/decoder codecs.
I had tried to uninstall both ffdshow and all version of winavi and install everything again but it doesn't solve the problem.
I had also tried to uncheck the option not allowing winavi to use its own decoder but it also doesn't solve the problem.
Anyone who can suggest or help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.
