    Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question
    I have looked at the manual here for this recorder http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMRES25-MULTI.pdf

    I am wanting to use it with a tv that has a cable box. Will it change the channel on the cable box? I dont understand how it does it as there isn't any transmitter plugin in the back. Do one of the cables in the back force the cable box to change channels.

    After the onslaught of insults from this question I will probably have to change my login name.
