I have an XViD AVI that works fine when played in Media Player Classic. However, when I convert it to DVD (using DVD Flick), the audio is late by about 1 second. Strange thing is, when I convert the same audio file with ConvertXtoDVD, the audio comes out about a second early. I used DivFix to check to see if any frames are bad, and there were no errors. Any suggestions?

Fix it in post ? If you know that it is out by a fixed amount you can re-author and adjust for the delay using delay cut. Just demux with Rejig, adjust the audio, and re-author.

What is the audio format in the source file ?

Probably due to Audio Resampling. Crop a few secs (less than 2MB) of the source AVI and post it up here.
