  1. I downloaded the latest version of TMPGenc off the official site
I copied two SVCD mpeg files to my hdd, I tested them and they play fine.
I tried to merge the two files with the tutorial found on this site, but 5 - 10 seconds before the second clip begins the audio goes completely out of sync. Any suggestions how I can fix this? Or any other methods on how to merge the two files?

    Thanks in advance

Anyone know of a fix or is there another program that joins the files ok

  3. Thats the exact same movie as I am trying to combine. Maybe its the SVCD itself. Just a question is your CD3 missing a few minutes at the end? I've seen the movie and the SVCD skips from tree scenery to the elve women speaking.

I believe just read something about scan and TMPG with SVCD. Apparently, TMPG doesn't produce standard compliant mpgs (svcd) Here read this...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TMPGenc does not produce svcd compliant mpgs. It does not add svcd scan offsets which can result is syncing problems on many if not most dvd players. There are probably other non-compliant things about it also.

That (s)vcd you made might play ok on your dvd player but chances are it wont play correctly on all dvd players.

Silax, I know a lot of people use bbMpeg. You can try that it is available in the tools section.
