anyone know how to get this off my pc..it says go to the site and this pop up will disapear..please anyone help none on my malware scanner has been able to find this..

I didn't install the program..the pop up just want to keep showing up...

Your computer went somewhere and downloaded a program that is a ... no no.

Now you need to do a search on the Internet for the fix.

Spy Emergency 2005 ... might help you ... this is the one I use ... just incase I catch something I dont want.

Sometimes I have to reboot to remove the program ... in question.

the only program I know of that was downloaded..was a program from suddenlink that switches email address..from where we are converting from charter to suddenlink..and from a game named silent hunter3

It comes through the Windows Alert Service. You didn't d/l anything, what has happned is your IP address (or is it DNS - I forget) is being targeted by a mass spammer.

You can report the problem to your Internet provider who may or may not be able to/willing to correct it or you can go to Control Panel-> Administrative Tools -> Servidces and turn off the Messenger Service. Doesn't really effect much on a home system because no one is going to call your computer anyway.

Personally I don't remember having this problem before I got a computer
