Problem hooking up the TruTech DVD recorder to the DISH receiver

Since I spent hours trying to hook the TruTech DVD recorder to my DISH TV receiver and to my TV and got absolutely NO WHERE. I need help. Does anyone know how to hook all three items up together? The manual is useless with DISH TV receiver...because it has 4 diffferent inputs. HELP!

Not enough info. What are u seeing on your tv? A Dish Network Receiver has outputs, not inputs. Pay attention to what INPUT on the dvd recorder you are hooking to, and make sure the dvd recorder is set to that. I would first hook the dvd recorder to the tv and make sure it is right. If you are able to see a movie or the dvd menu, then hook the dish network to the dvd recorder.
