Outlook adresses where abouts

My windows installation is corrupted, and i managed to pull the hd out of the comp to try and save a few things. But what i really want to save is my microsoft outlook emaill address and everything else that was in there, can any one advise how i would go about searching for those items, any advice would help...thanks

do a search for files with an Extension: .PST

You will need to search for a *.PST file. Outlook saves all of your emails and address to a backup.pst file.

However, if you were using Outlook Express instead of Outlook:
The Address Book is a .wab and a .wab~ file located under:
C:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

Emails are stored in .dbx files located under:
C:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{a big long group of characters}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\

Note: "Yourname" is your login name
