    I have some m2v files and of course the audio is separate. What's the best way to go about putting the video and audio together to be authored in Encore?

    Open the help in Encore or watch http://www.vtc.com/products/encore.htm (free adobe encore dvd tutorials).

    you got anything else? only the basics of that tutorial are online, the working with audio link isnt even available.

    rt-click in the PROJECT area / IMPORT AS / Timeline

    Then browse to the folder with your separate tracks. Hold the CTL key while selecting the both of them, and click open.
