I have a Dell Ultrasharp 2007WFP - http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/2007wfp?c=au&l=en&s=dhs
There are four video inputs (s-video, DVI, VGA, and Composite Video).
There are two download USB ports(you can connect something like an Ipod into), and one upload USB port(used to connect the two download ports to the computer.)
I was wondering if it could be possible to capture video by pluging in composite video and then using the upload USB port to transfer it onto the computer. I don't think it is possible at this time, but I am wondering if anyone is attempting to "hack" the monitor to allow it to do this....
your thoughts?? will this be possible??

No.
There is no connection between the two sets of inputs. There would need to be additional circuitry, which Very Few purchasers of monitors would be willing to pay for. IMO it is extremely unlikely that such a capability will be present in monitors for at least five years or so, if ever.
