Sure. When you start Nero Burning ROM, and the 'New Compilation' window comes up, select the 'Burn' tab and check 'Use multiple recorders'. One note, though, it won't be much faster than burning the same disc twice, just more convenient.
And welcome to our forums. -
Ty, i'm using nero express does that matter because i don't see the compilation window
-
Sorry. I looked around Express and didn't see it. It doesn't show up in Nero Burning ROM except for the 'New Compilation' window either. You aren't missing much, though. Two drives will only burn 2 discs a little faster than using one drive twice, at least with Nero. And the drives have to be similar in speed or Nero and some ATA/IDE controllers will have a hard time feeding them both. I'm using Nero 6.6.0.13, so I don't know if this has all changed in newer versions.

Ok i've found out how to enable both burners but now i don't see how to start a new movie, whenever i try to open nero again to start a new one it says program already running and i don't see start or make another movie, so how do i start another movie, thanks

I think there's been a misunderstanding here. I, like most others, assumed you meant that you wanted to burn the same thing to two burners simultaneously. This you can do. However, if you want to burn two different movies to two burners at the same time, then no, Nero won't do this for you (as you have found).
If in doubt, Google it. -
since you guy ask about nero, can somebody answer this question for me plase?
i don't know why but my burning is so slow, i use nero to burn it took me about 2 hours to burn 1 dvd
can somebody help please
thanks a lot -
Is the media 1x media? -- Last nite I burned from Nero two disks... one was a 8x +RSL disk and one was an old 2x +RSL disk. The 8x disk disk took under 10 minutes and the 2x disk took about ... hmmm... maybe 20 or so minutes.
Could be your drive or media or computer. Was this "burn only" or did the content have to be transcoded first? (and was that part of the two hours) -
ok i have nerovision burning one dvd and nero express doing another and both will let me burn a movie but here is another problem i've ran into, all of my movies are avi and when i click on to burn a dvd the movie file don't come up because the dvd file it's looking for is a vob, but if i click on svcd it see the movie file BUT it says the files are too big which i'm trying to burn it on a dvd disc it's not burning it as a dvd, how can i solve that problem, thanks

I've just burned 2 movies from the same hard drive, to 2 burners (NEC-4571 and Nec-2500A), while there was a download at full speed in a background and 2 browsers runing. -
Yes that's what i'm trying to do burn 2 movies off of the same hard drive to 2 diffeerent burners, someone else told me that they did it before but i can't contact him
-
OK, this is how I did it:
I opened Nero burning rom twice. In each window I selected a different burner, choosed a different file to be burned (no multisession), set a speed for each drive and just burned both files at the same time. Simple.
So, start with Nero burning rom, not Nero Express. I haven't tried to do this with Nero Express, though.

Using both of my NEC drives simultaneously, it seems that each one burns at a proper speed, just as it would burn if only one drive is used. -

You gave hundreds (thousands as I can see) good advices and contributions to the forum.
And once you was wrong. So what? Would it be so difficult to say: Sorry guys, I was wrong, but with best intentions? -
ok all of my files are avi or xvid, express supports or looks for avi or xvid files but (rom) looks for vob or cue so how can i convert my files whereby rom can see them because i've been reading everyone replies and now i think i can burn two one using rom and one using express but rom isn't supporting my avi/xvid files, thanks again

This is cause Nero Burning rom is a burner (very good burner), while nero express is encoder (very bad encoder), authoring application (very bad authoring application) and burner (not the best for DVD Video) all-in-once.
People think that you need to burn - therefore they recommend Nero BR. They are not aware that you want to encode from divx/xvid to dvd, to author the dvd and to burn.
The best all-in-one regarding the opinion in this forum is ConvertXtoDVD. Then burn with NBR. -
I've burned two different iso files at once with DVD Decrypter.
I wouldn't trust Nero on that without more that 1.5 GB RAM - only have 1 GB at the moment.
I have burned a single .iso in alcohol to three drives at 4X before (the slowest drive is an 8X) without any problems. makes it nice when you need a small number of a production.;/ l ,[____], Its a Jeep thing,
