I have been creating subtitles with SubMagic, then importing them into DVDLabPro. All seems OK except that the titles need to be a little higher on the screen. Especially where a sub has two lines of text, the lower line is not visible at all. I click on the Sub window, and import the subs into DVDLab. There is a Margin button and when clicked on to open, it reveals both Margins Settings and Base Line Alignment (Bottom Margin Middle Margin). Can anyone explain what these settings mean, as the manual is a bit hazy on this subject.
Are these the settings used to move the subtitle up the screen ??
Also, is the Font and the screen position defined in the subtitle creator, and/or does DVDLab override any such settings ??

    Thanks in Advance

What subtitle format do you save as, from SubMagic? Much of what you ask depends on this.

Srt files don't hold the positions, neither the font. It's only a text file with the timings.
The fonts and positions in SubtitleCreator are here only for binary files like SUP or VobSub that can be created from srt files.
