    Hey fellas,

I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me as it is driving me crazy, lol.

What project settings do I need to make in Vegas 7 if I am importing dv video shot mainly in widescreen (I want the project to be widescreen)?

Now when I render, I use the DVD Architect template (ntsc dv widescreen video stream). I then render the audio as an .ac3.

Now, here is where I really have a problem. When I import all of this into DVD Architect, what settings do I need to set there? I ask because I thought I've been doing this the correct way, however, only the menu comes out the correct size. The video never comes out the right size when I burn the dvd. When I view it on my tv, it appears as a smaller rectangle. It does not extend across the screen.

I figure it has to do with some incorrect settings or something. Although, I believe I am setting everything to wide, so I have no idea.

Sorry if this seems like a double post as another member attempted to help me, but this forum seems more appropriate as it appears I am a newbie.

Below is an example of how my video appears on my tv screen.

    Thanks.

    Jeff

click "stretch video to fit frame size. do not letterbox"

this is found in the render as settings .... when you render ...

for project settings - use wide screen settings -- if your source is not wide screen - you will have to crop it

Hmm.. I will be sure to check that once I get home. I remember seeing that option. Actually, I think those are two separate options. So I will check "Stretch to Fit Frame Size". Thanks for the info. Very much appreciated I may have inadvertently unchecked that and it became the default setting.
