Hi All,
I have a 90 minute project which i have been encoding for 8 hours with Procoder Express.
It has spit out 3 Mpeg files with associated audio files and not 1 as i would have expected.
Life is precious so any shortcuts to getting my life back while i wait for successful encodes would be good .
Thanks in advance,
Moto
I encoded it direct from Premiere 6.2 with the Procoder Express plug in set to VBR (1 pass)
I have W2K, 512Ram and a P4

Are the file contents identical? Are they different segments of the film? How big are the segments?
Time for a new machina. Look at the Intel E4300 CPU. Outstanding value and 4X faster than your existing hardware. -
Soopa,
Indeed my life would be easier if i upgraded on some memory etc. but the machine is capable of complex editing of a 90 minute program. The only problem seems to be the coding! Like most people if i am assured of a good coding i'll wait a day. (not sure about 48 hours though Fulci) Problem is i'm waiting and day and coming out with zip, as you say over there!
All 3 segments are individual parts of the whole 90 mins.
The Mpeg2 files are 1.55GB,1.55GB and 561MB
Can't find anything about why i would have 3 files instead of 1 but looking at the Gig size it seems obvious that for some reason Procoder doesn't want to give me a file of more than 1.55GB.
