    Hi,

I've been trying to author a DVD with MovieGate and the subtitles always come out huge and more or less in the middle of the screen. I have tried changing the font size and location, but the finished DVDs are always showing the same font size and location. Subtitles have been imported from a .SRT file. Video and audio come from an XviD.

Any clues would be great, since other than this problem, I'm getting much better results than with ffmpegX, which doesn't show any subtitles at all, at least not on my standalone DVD player (Pioneer DV-696AV-K)

    Thanks for your help,
    Chris

At least you've got Movie Gate to really author a DVD with .srt subtitles. My problem is that when I try to add .srt subs, MG just ends up making a VIDEO_TS folder with one single non-functional VTS_01_0.VOB file. Without the .srt file, everything works great.

Again, any help would be much appreciated.
