Hello. Im very new in this subject and i´ve been having a problem with my subtitles.
I download my subtitles and they come too small. So i enlarge them with VobSub and in when i reproduce them in my computer they are just fine, but then, when try to burn the movie to a DVD, in my TV they look the same they did before. How can i make the changes permanently?
Thank you, in advanced.

Vobsub will just change the font size when you play it on your computer.
If we should be able to help then PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE give us more information,
what is your source video file? what is the subtitle format?
are you converting to dvd? what software then.
are you just burning a avi and subtitle on a dvd? -
The subtitle format is just plain text, .SRT.
I just want to burn it into a DVD, in AVI format.
What program would you recommend me to convert my AVI files into DVD format. -
SRT doesn't define a size. They become whatever size the program you've been using makes them. Some allow you to adjust the size, other's don't.
Someone else will have to recommend a program to convert AVI to DVD at the same time allowing you to specify a subtitle size. Of course, I could have misunderstood you:
I just want to burn it into a DVD, in AVI format....convert my AVI files into DVD format. -
Sorry for my ignorance. I was confusing DVD with DVD-V format.
I will ask again. I hope this time its more accurately.
Ive got an AVI or DivX movie and I want to burn it in a disc so then I can watch it in my DVD player. The problem is that I need subtitles for my movie, and when I download them they come too small. So i enlarge them with VobSub, and they look bigger when i watch them in lets say BSPlayer but then when i burn them into a disc and watch them in my dvd they look small again.
How can i do to enlarge my subtitles in a DivX / AVI movie so when i burn it they dont become small again? -
You're actually "burning" or "embedding" the subs into the video? And this is a DVD? Why not make them selectable like normal people? Many authoring programs (DVDAuthorGUI, for example) will allow you to specify the size.
If you insist on burning them into the DVD, you might consider converting your subs to SSA format which does allow you to choose a size (and font, color, position, etc.), and then use them for the DVD. -
DVDFlick (free software) takes avi and srt subtitles file and converts to DVD format for burning. In DVD Flick settings, you can increase subtitle size so that they will appear larger when you play the DVD on a DVD player. Everything else you can just leave as default. (See screenshot.) Depending on the speed of your computer, DVDFlick takes about 4 hours to convert avi to DVD format (ready for burning). You can also use DVDFlick to burn the DVD files to DVD, but I use another software to do the burning.
