    hi,

I've encoded a xvid progressive clip to mpeg2 with cce serving with avisynth.

I want the product image to be as the source image is. However the encoded image is slightly displaced upwards. i.e the bottom of the source frame is a few lines above the bottom of the final image. (I could post pictures i guess if needed)

I'm using essentially nothing in avisynth
    Code:
    AVISource("title.avi", false)
    Lanczos4Resize(720,480)
I've not messed with much settings wise in cce.
I've disabled dvd compliant and pulldown as I want a 23.976 mpeg2, that would be the major change.

    help please
    ty

edit: product image to be exactly the same as resized source image that is; to be clear.

Add your script to CCE, click Edit, then (I think) Video Settings. In the bottom half, find the Offset field. untick the box above it, and change the offset to 0 and try again.

Sorry for being vague, but I don't have CCE on this machine.

    It's perfectly clear.

I thought it only did something when you had interlaced source.
Then again I should have thought of it I guess.

    I'll try it now

    Thanks.
I feel quite stupid having missed that. Especially as I reccently set offset to 0 when sampling a bottom field interlaced source. I also remember feeling that having offset default at 1 was stupid.
