avi2dvd not seeing files

Hi all

Hoping someone can help me.

I have been using Avi2dvd for some months now. Last few weeks now it doesn't seem to "see" files.

I can go to the folder in question and there are files there - some say movie files then mpeg in brackets , some just say video clip.

Now when I try and load them into avi2dvd it doesn't see these files, yet if I use video dvd maker - ot sees the files and converts them to DVD.

Now I much prefer using Avi2dvd - anyone any ideas what's going on here and how to fix it ?

Avi2dvd is seeing a small percentage of files but they seem to be mainly (possibly purely) ones added to the folder some weeks ago.

Any solutions will be very gratefully received.
