Does it matter what speed i burn DVDR's? Is slower speed better? Until now i have had only DVDR discs that got max burning speed 4X, but now i have discs that got max 16.1 speed. Can i safely burn with that speed?
And why i wasn't able to burn faster than 4X with those previous discs, even though they were 16X compatible? Previous discs were Sony and Maxell and those new are TDK.

I've tried all that in the past and couldn't tell any difference. I guess with bad media or a weak burner lamp then maybe that would help. I don't know.
I burn as fast as it can go. I guess I'm always in a hurry. -
