Help with subtitles please...I'm desperate!!!

hi everyone...

i have 2 avi files that have to be joined together, they have ac3 5.1 audio and there are subs to go with them (each file has it's own subs, .idx & .sub). i would like to join these and convert it to dvd with CCE. i want the subs to be hardcoded (they're only for non-english parts). i've tried so many different things, including guides on the site but have had no luck. can someone please help me with what to do...maybe step by step and the tools i need? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much. here are the files...

I do not know what you have tried so far. When I needed help with subtitles I used this guide-
