PDA wifi

I bought a Dell Axim X51v...I would like to get the internet working, but I can't seem to figure out how to get connected. My Wii gets connected fine, but I'm having trouble with my PDA. I also hate the fact I am working in Japanese.

Do you have a wep password? Just make sure it has that. It should have an auto connection feature these days.

Don't know what a wep password is, where to find it, or where to put it...help

Can you at least see the wireless network you want to connect to on your Axim?

When I turn on the Wifi it searches for a network (I'm assuming this, it's in Japanese and my wife is kind of useless when it comes to this). It gives me a few choices. Some of them require passwords (I think) and some of them are open. I click on an open one. From there, I try opening IE and I get nothing. I tried downloading a Wifi detector for my PDA but I can't seem to get that working either.
