God, it's been a while since I've looked in here!

Anyway, I convert DVDs to a PDA playable XviD AVIs using Lathe, a damn good one click affair.
I then play them on my Xda Exec no problemo using TCPMP, another damn good program.

I resize to tops 256x192 (no reason to go any higher IMO).

Problem is file size. e.g. Nemo ends up as being nigh-on CD size @578MB and this is with titles removed at the end using VirtualDub.

Sooooo, anyone one got any PDA movie encoding experience that can point me in the right direction, re getting that file size down?

    Cheers,

    Andy

Can't you use AutoGK and Fairuse Wizard and just lower the resolution? The best dvd to xvid converters!

    Hi Baldrick,

I'll dig out AutoGK and give it a whorl. Fairuse Wizard is a new one on me so I'll be checking that out too.

    Many thanks,

    Andy.
